City of Grand Junction  city sponsored web site with all kinds of neat information on the city including community activities, city works in progress, council activities and everything but gossip. Unique site worth a look!

The Downtown Development Authority commissioned an ever changing art exhibit that fills the downtown streets with sculpture and art from all corners. An interesting and beautiful addition to the already unique shopping experience.

with all the demographic information and information on  parks and recreation facilities, area businesses, city and county facilities and gas, electric, water and other area utilities.

Mesa County Economic Development Council or as it is known now as the Grand Junction Economic Partnership is in place, sponsored by local businessmen that actively recruit companies that would complement the existing growth plan for expanding job opportunities and growing the wage scale for the fast developing labor force in Western Colorado. They are doing an excellent job with new clean and good paying companies being added every year.

Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra Grand Junction is blessed with an abundance of fine artists from all disciplines including music, painting and sculpting and the theatre brought here for a variety of reasons for our very great fortune. As well as the symphony we have an outstanding theatre community with a solid base in the Mesa State College Theatre Department and a super fine arts museum, Western Colorado Center For The Arts.

Museum Of Western Colorado we have dinosaurs lots and lots buried for millions of years all over the area and a thriving science of rediscovery. There are 2 week family vacations with a renowned archeologist working with him and his graduate students on an active "dino dig". Are You Ready For Some Golf!  Grand Junction has 5 golf courses, 3 of championship quality, in or near the city limits and several more unforgettable golf courses in the surrounding communities.

Are You Ready For Some Skiing!  The Grand Mesa is the eastern boundary for the valley. It rises to over 12,000 ft. and squeezes the Colorado River out of the Rocky Mountain foothills into our fair valley.
